50 grams of King Cole big value baby DK in Cream (046)
OR
1.75oz of Light Worsted Weight #3 Yarn
5.00mm & 4.00mm crochet hook
Small amount of 6mm wide ribbon
GAUGE - 5sc and 6 rows measure approx 1 Inch using 4.00mm hook

Booties x 2 (Starting with Sole) - With 4.00mm hook ch11, (RS) 3hdc in 4th ch from
hook, 1hdc in each of next 6ch, 8hdc in last ch, working on opposite side of cast
on ch, work 1hdc in each of next 6ch, 4hdc in last ch, sl st to top of the ch3 on
beginning of row. DNT. (27hdc + ch3)
Round 2 - ch2, 1hdc in base of ch2, 2hdc in each of next 2hdc, 1hdc in each of next
8hdc, 2hdc in each of next 6hdc, 1hdc in each of next 8hdc, 2hdc in each of last
3hdc, sl st to top of ch2 on beginning of row. DNT. (39hdc + ch2).
Round 3 - ch2, 1hdc in each hdc to end, sl st to top of ch2 on beginning of row.
DNT.
Round 4 - Working in back loop of stitch only, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each
hdc to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn (40sc)
Round 5 - Working through both loops ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to end,
sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. Rpt last row once. Fasten off.
Instep - With WS facing and counting from were you fastened off, skip 10sc, rejoin
yarn with a sl st to next sc, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in next 19sc. Turn leaving
10sc un-worked. (20sc)
Next Row - (Dec row) ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, dec 1sc over next 2sc, (see abbrev)
9 times, 1sc in last sc. Turn. (11sc)
Next Row - (Dec row) ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, dec 1sc over next 2sc, (5 times). Turn.
(6sc)
Next Row - ch1, insert hook and pull up loop in each sc, yo and pull through all
7 loops on hook to close, ch1. Fasten off.
Top - With WS facing rejoin yarn to back seam, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 1sc
in each of next 9sc, 9sc evenly across top of instep, work 1sc in each of next 10sc,
sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. (29sc)
Row 2 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to end, sl st to first sc on beginning
of row. Turn. Rpt last row twice. Turn.
Eyelet Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in next sc, * ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in each
of next 2sc, * rpt from * to * to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn.
Row 6 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc and ch2 space to end, sl st to to
first sc on beginning of row. Turn. (29sc)
Row 7 - ch3, (1dc, ch2, 1sc) in base of ch3, * skip 2sc, (2dc, ch2, 1sc) in next
sc, rpt from * to * to last sc, skip last sc, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of
row. Turn. (10 groups)
Pattern Row - sl st to first ch2 space, ch3, (1dc, ch2, 1sc) in same ch2 space, *
skip 2dc and sc, (2dc, ch2, 1sc) in next ch2 space, * rpt from * to * to end, skip
1dc, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Fasten off.
With 5.00mm hook and top of bootie towards you, rejoin yarn with a sl st to back
seam, work one row of slip stitch in loose loops on sole of bootie, sl st to first
sl st on beginning or row. Fasten off.
Finishing - Sew in and tie off any loose ends of yarn, thread ribbon through eyelet
row and tie in a bow to the front of the booties.
Mitts x 2 - With 5.00mm hook ch22, sl st to first ch to form a ring.
Eyelet Row - Change to 4.00mm hook and ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in next ch, *
ch2, skip 1ch, 1sc in each of next ch2 * rpt from * to * to last ch2, ch2, skip 1ch,
1sc in last ch, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. (7, ch2 spaces)
2nd Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc and ch2 space to end, sl st to
first sc on beginning of row. Turn. (22sc)
3rd Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to end, sl st to first sc on beginning
of row. Turn.
Rpt last row 4 more times. Turn.
Shape Top - ch1, 1sc in base of ch, dec 1sc over next 2sc, 1sc in each of next 6sc,
dec 1sc over next 2sc, (twice), 1sc in each of next 6sc, dec 1sc over next 2sc, 1sc
in last sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. (18sc)
Starting with ch1, work 1 row of 1sc in each sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of
row. Turn.
10th Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch, dec 1sc over next 2sc, 1sc in each of next 4sc,
dec 1sc over next 2sc, (twice), 1sc in each of next 4sc, dec 1sc over next 2sc, 1sc
in last sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. (14sc)
Starting with ch1, work 1 row of 1sc in each sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of
row. Turn.
12th Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch, dec 1sc over next 2sc, 1sc in each of next 2sc,
dec 1sc over next 2sc, (twice), 1sc in each of next 2sc, dec 1sc over next 2sc, 1sc
in last sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Fasten off. (10sc)
With RS side facing work 22sc evenly along cast on edge at cuff, sl st to first sc
on beginning of row. Turn.
Next Row - ch3, (1dc, ch2, 1sc) in base of ch3, * skip 2sc, (2dc, ch2, 1sc) in next
sc, rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Turn. (8 groups)
Work Pattern Row from booties once. Fasten off.
Finishing - With WS side facing gather open seam at top of mitt and secure, weave
in and trim off any loose ends of yarn, thread ribbon through eyelet row around cuff
and tie in a bow to the front of the mitts. Turn through to RS.
