1.45oz of Light Worsted Weight #3 Cotton Yarn in Color 1

0.55oz of Light Worsted Weight #3 Cotton Yarn in Color 2

4.50mm crochet hook, 1 Button

GAUGE - 5sc and 4 rows measures approx 1 Inch

With color 1 ch28 loosely, (RS) 2sc in 2nd ch from hook, * skip 1ch, 2sc in next ch, * rpt from * to * to last ch2, skip 1ch, 1sc in last ch. Turn. (27sc)

Pattern Row - ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, * skip 1sc, 2sc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last 2sc, skip 1sc, 1sc in last sc. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Row until 28 rows have been worked in all or work measures approx 6 Inches from beginning. Turn.

Divide for Neck

Side 1 - ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, * skip 1sc, 2sc in next sc, * rpt from * to * once, skip 1sc, 1sc in next sc. Turn. (7sc)

Row 2 & 3 - Rpt Pattern Row.

Row 4 - (Dec) ch1, dec 1sc over first 2sc, (see abbev) 2sc in next sc, skip 1sc, 2sc in next sc, skip 1sc, 1sc in last sc. Turn. (6sc)

Row 5 - ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, skip 1sc, 2sc in next sc, skip 1sc, 1sc in each of next 2sc. Turn.

Row 6 - ch1, skip 1st sc, 2sc in next sc, skip 1sc, 2sc in next sc, skip 1sc, 1sc in last sc. Turn. (5sc)

Strap - Rpt Pattern Row until 37 rows have been worked from division. Turn.

Buttonhole Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in next sc, ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in each of next 2sc. Turn.

Next Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc and the ch2 space to end. Fasten off.

Side 2 - Skip 13sc, rejoin color 1 to next sc, ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, * skip 1sc, 2sc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last 2sc, skip 1sc, 1sc in last sc. Turn. (7sc)

Rpt Pattern Row until 6 rows have been worked in all. Fasten off.

Border - With WS facing rejoin color 1 to top of strap, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1,  1sc in each sc across top of strap, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each row end down strap and first side of bib, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each ch along starting ch, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each row end along second side of bib, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each sc along shoulder, 3sc in corner, 5sc along first side of neck, 1sc in each of next 13sc, 1sc in each row end along strap, 1sc in corner, sl st to first sc. Fasten off. Turn.

Join in color 2, start with ch1, 1sc in base of ch1 and work one row of 1sc in each sc around bib and strap to end, working 3sc in the corners. Turn.

Work one row of crab stitch (see abbrev) Fasten off.
