Made in rounds without turning to the 8th Row.
Using color 1, make a magic circle, with 5.00mm hook ch3, work 12dc in ring, pull
loose thread to close circle, sl st to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (12dc + 3ch)
2nd Row - (Inc row) 3ch, 2dc in each dc to end, sl st to top of 3ch on beginning
of row. (24dc + 3ch)
3rd Row - (Inc row) 3ch, 2dc in first dc, * 1dc in next dc, 2dc in next dc, * rpt
from * to * to last dc, 1dc in dc, sl st to top of 3ch on beginning of row. (36dc
+ 3ch)
4th Row - (Inc row) 3ch, 2dc in first dc, * 1dc in each of next 2dc, 2dc in next
dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc, 1dc in each dc, sl st to top of 3ch on beginning

Pattern Row 1 - Skip 1sc, join in color 2 with a sl st to next sc, ch3, 2dc in same

of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.
Pattern Row 2 - 1ch, 1sc in base of 3ch, 1sc in each dc to end, sl st to first sc.
Fasten off. Turn.
Pattern Row 3 - Using color 1 rpt Pattern Row 1.
Pattern Row 4 - Rpt Pattern Row 2.
Rpt Pattern Rows 1 to 4 until 41 rows have been worked in all or work measures approx
16 Inches from beginning. Fasten off.
Rpt Pattern Rows 1 & 2.
Next Row - Join in color 1 with a sl st, ch1, work 1sc in base of 1ch, 1sc in each
sc to end, sl st to first sc. Turn. (72sc)
Collar
Row 1 - Working in back loop of stitch, ch1, work 1sc in base of 1ch, 1sc in each
sc to end, sl st to first sc. Turn.
Rows 2 to 12 - Rpt Row 1 work through both loops of stitch. Fasten off.
Make a pom-pom, I used Clover Pom-Pom maker size 45
Finishing - Weave in and trim of any loose ends of yarn, fold collar on to front
of cozy, add pom-pom to front of collar. (optional)
