85 grams of King Cole big value baby DK in colour 1
25 grams of King Cole big value baby DK in colour 2
4.00mm crochet hook, 2 small buttons
TENSION - 4tr and 2.5 rows measures approx 1 Inch

Pants - Using colour 1, make 92ch, ss to first ch to form a ring. Make 2ch, (RS)
1tr into base of 2ch, 1tr in each ch to end, ss to top of first tr on beginning of
row. Turn. (92tr)
Next Row - 2ch, 1tr into base of 2ch, 1tr into each tr to end, ss to top of first
tr on beginning of row. Turn.
Rpt last row until 16 rows have been worked or work measures approx 7 Inches from
beginning. Turn.
Divide for legs - 2ch, 1tr into base of 2ch, 1tr into each of next 45tr, ss to top
of first tr on beginning of row, turn leaving 46tr un-worked
Next Row - 2ch, 1tr into base of 2ch, 1tr into each tr to end, ss to first tr on
beginning of row. Fasten off. Turn. (46tr)
Next Row - Join in colour 2, make 1ch, * (1dc, 2tr) into next tr, miss 2tr, * rpt
from * to * to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (15 Groups)
Pattern Row - 1ch, (1dc, 2tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 2tr, (1dc, 2tr) into next
dc, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr, miss 2tr, ss to first dc on beginning of row.
Fasten off. Turn.
Join in colour 1.
Next Row - 2ch, work 1tr into base of 2ch, 1tr into each of next 44st, 1tr into base
of 2ch, ss to first tr. Turn. (46tr)
Starting with 3ch, 1tr into base of 3ch, work 1tr into each tr to end, ss to first
tr. Fasten off.
Join in colour 2.
Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each tr to end, ss to first dc on
beginning of row. Fasten off.
Second Leg - Return to un-worked stitches at division, join colour 1 to next tr,
make 2ch, 1tr into base of 2ch, continue and complete in the same way as first leg.
A small gap will form on the crotch area, which we will close in the finishing section.
Waistband - With colour 1, WS of work facing, starting with 1ch and 1dc into base
of 1ch, work 91 more dc evenly along cast on edge to end, ss to first dc on beginning
of row. Turn. Fasten off. (92dc)
Bib - With RS facing, counting from back seam, miss 32dc, rejoin colour 1 to next
dc, make 3ch, 1tr into each of next 27dc. Turn leaving 32dc
un-worked. (27tr + 3ch)
2nd Row - 3ch, work 1tr into each tr to end. Fasten off. Turn.
3rd Row - Join in colour 2, make 1ch, (1dc, 2tr) into base of 1ch, * miss 2tr, (1dc,
2tr) into next tr, * rpt from * to * to last 2tr and 3ch, miss 2tr, 1dc into top
of 3ch. Turn. (9 groups)
4th Row - 1ch, (1dc, 2tr) into base of 3ch, * miss 2tr, (1dc, 2tr) into next dc,
* rpt from * to * to last 2tr and dc, miss 2tr, 1dc into dc. Fasten off. Turn.
Join in colour 1.
5th Row - 3ch, 1tr into each st to end. Turn. (27tr + 3ch)
6th Row - Rpt last row once. Fasten off.
Join in colour 2.
Rpt 3rd & 4th Rows once. Turn.
Join in colour 1.
Rpt 5th & 6th Rows. Fasten off.
Edging - With RS of work facing, rejoin colour 1 to first dc after back seam, 1ch,
1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each of next 31dc, 15dc evenly into row ends
up first side of bib, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each of next 26tr across top of bib,
3dc into top of 3ch, work 15dc evenly into row ends down second side of bib, 1dc
into each of next 32dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off. Turn.
Working 3dc into corners, join in colour 2 and work 1dc into each dc along first
half of waist band, up first side, across top and down second side of bib and along
second half of waist band, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off.
Chain Tie - Using colour 2 double thickness make 140ch. Fasten off.
Straps x 2 - With colour 1 make 3ch, 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into next ch.
Turn.
Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into next dc. Turn.
Rpt last row until 45 dc rows have been worked. Turn.
Buttonhole - 4ch, 1dc into next dc. Turn.
Strap Edging - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into 4ch space, working down first
side of strap work 45dc evenly into row ends down first side of strap, 1dc into each
the of the 2ch along cast on edge, 45dc evenly into row ends up second side of strap,
ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off. Turn. (94dc)
Next Row - Join in colour 2, 1ch, 2dc into each of first 2dc, 1dc into each of next
43dc, 2dc into each of next 4dc, 1dc into each of next 43dc, 2dc into each of last
2dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off.
Finishing - Close small gap on crotch, weave in any loose ends of yarn and trim off.
Attach each strap end to the inside of the waistband approx 3.5 Inches from back
seam or either side of back seam for cross over straps, sew buttons to corners on
bib and fasten through holes on straps.
