80 grams of Stylecraft Special DK Yarn in Colour 1
35 grams of King Cole Tinsel in Colour 2
4.00mm crochet hook, 1 button
TENSION - 5tr and 2.5 rows measures approx 1 Inch

Hooded Cape - Starting with yoke using colour 1, make 57ch, (RS) 1tr into 4th ch
from hook, 1tr into the next 6ch, (front) 3tr into next ch, 1tr into next 8ch, (shoulder)
3tr into next ch, 1tr into the next 19ch, (back) 3tr into next ch, 1tr into the next
8ch, (shoulder) 3tr into next ch, 1tr into the next 8ch. (front) Turn. (62tr + 3ch)
Row 2 - (Inc Row) Make 3ch, * 1tr into each tr to 3tr group, 1tr into next tr, 3tr
into centre tr on 3tr group, * rpt from * to * to last 3tr group, 1tr into next tr,
3tr into centre tr on 3tr group, 1tr into each tr to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. (70tr
+ 3ch)
3rd to 11th Row - rpt 2nd Row. Turn. (142tr + 3ch) DNT
Front Bands - Working along front edge of cape into row ends, make 1ch, 1dc into
base of 1ch, work 22 more dc evenly along to neck edge. Turn.
Button Loop Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * make 20ch, 1dc into same dc, 1dc into
each dc to end. Fasten off
Return to opposite side of front edge and working from the neck downwards, starting
with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 22 more dc evenly along to end. Turn.
Work one more row of dc. Fasten off.
Hood - With colour 1 and RS facing, work along neck edge (starting chain) miss button
loop band and 2st, join yarn to next st, make 3ch, work 1tr into each of next 50st,
turn leaving last 2st and button band un-worked. (50tr + 3ch)
Next Row - 3ch, 1tr into each ch to end, tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
Rpt last row until 20 rows have been worked from beginning.
Fold hood in half, working through both sides of tr's ss top edge together. Fasten
off.
Fluffy Edge - With RS facing join colour 2 (fluffy yarn) to lower edge on right hand
side of cape, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc up first front edge,
3dc into corner, 1dc into each row end across top of button loop band, 2dc into each
row end around front of hood, 1dc into each row end along top of button band, 3dc
into corner, 1dc into each dc down second front edge, 3dc into corner, * 1dc into
each tr to next 3tr group, 1dc into next tr, 3dc into centre tr on 3tr group, * rpt
from * to * to last 3tr group, 1dc into next tr, 3dc into centre tr on 3tr group,
1dc into each tr to end, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.
Starting with 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work two more rows in dc, working 3dc into
corners (including centre dc of 3dc group along the bottom of cape) Fasten off.
Finishing - Weave in any loose ends of yarn and trim off, attach a button to correspond
with button loop.
