6.00mm & 5.50mm Crochet Hooks


GAUGE - 4sc & 5 rows of sc's measures approx 1 Inch using 5.50mm hook

Using 6.00mm hook and color 1 ch157, change to 5.50mm hook, 1dc in 4th ch from hook, 1dc in next ch, * ch2, skip 2ch, 1sc in next ch, ch2, skip 2ch, 1dc in each of next 3ch, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (19sc).


Next Row - (RS) ch3, 1dc in each of next 2dc, * skip ch2, 1dc in next sc, ch3, work 3dc around the post of the last dc made, skip ch2, 1dc in each of next 3dc, * rpt from * to * to end, working last dc in top of ch3. Turn. (19, post 3dc groups)

 

Pattern Row 1 - ch3, 1dc in each of next 2dc, * ch2, skip 3dc, 1sc in top of ch3 on post 3dc group, ch2, 1dc in each of next 3dc, * rpt from * to * to end, working last dc in top of ch3. Turn.

Edging - Join in color 2 to first sc, ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each of next 2sc, * 2sc in ch2 space, skip 1sc, 2sc in next ch2 space, 1sc in each of next 3sc, * rpt from * to * to end, work 3sc in last sc, work 138sc evenly down first side of blanket to corner (working in row ends) 3sc in corner.


Working along cast on edge, work 1sc in each of next ch2, * 2sc in ch2 space, skip 1sc, 2sc in next ch2 space, 1sc in each of next ch3, * rpt from * to * to end, work 3sc in last ch, working again in row ends, work 138sc evenly along up second side of blanket to corner, 1sc in base of ch1, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn.


Next Row - ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, work 1sc in each sc along the four sides of blanket, working 3sc in corners, 1sc in base of ch1, sl st to first sc on the beginning of row. Turn. Fasten off.


Join in color 3, Rpt last row twice.


Next Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in next sc, * rpt from

* to * around four sides of blanket to last sc, ch2, skip last sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn.


Next Row - ch3, 2dc in first ch2 space, * skip 1sc, 1sc in next ch2 space, skip 1sc, 3dc in next ch2 space, rpt from * to * around four sides of blanket, ending with 1sc in last stitch, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Fasten off.


Finishing - Weave in and trim off all loose ends of yarn.
