Materials

60 grams of King Cole big value baby DK

OR

2.15oz of Light Worsted Weight #3 yarn

5.00mm & 4.50mm crochet hooks

GAUGE - 4sc and 5 rows measures approx 1 Inch using 4.50mm hook

With 5.00mm hook ch29, 3sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each of next 26ch, 6sc in last ch, working along opposite side of cast on ch, work 1sc in each of next 26ch, 3sc in last ch, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. (64sc)

Rows 2 to 6 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to end, sl st to first sc. Turn.

Change to 4.50mm Hook.

Row 7 - ch1, (1sc, ch2, 1sc) in base of ch1, * skip 1sc, (1sc, ch2, 1sc) in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last sc, skip sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. (32 groups)

Row 8 - (1sc, ch2, 1sc) in each ch2 space to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn.

Rpt Row 8 until 23 rows have been worked or work measures approx 7 Inches from beginning. Fasten off.

Handles x 2 - ch51, 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in ch to end. Fasten off.

Finishing - Close any small holes created from starting chain, weave in loose ends, attach a handle to the inside of each side of bag 3 groups in from each edge and 8 groups between (see pic)

Attach flower motif to front of bag.
