dc.        Double Crochet

rpt.       Repeat

sl st.     Slip Stitch

Base of ch. Work in first stitch

Size to fit approx:  6-12 Month Baby

8.25 inches in length x 2.25 Inches wide

Materials

15 grams of  King Cole big value baby DK

OR

0.6oz of Light Worsted Weight #3 yarn

5.00mm crochet hook

GAUGE - 5dc and 2 rows measures approx 1 Inch

ch12, 1dc in 3rd ch from hook, 1dc in each ch to end. Turn. (10dc)

Pattern Row - Working in back loop only ch2, 1dc in base of ch2, 1dc in each dc to end. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Row until 32 rows have been worked in all from beginning. Turn.

Fold headband in half and with WS facing sl st the cast on edge and the last row you worked together to make a round. Fasten off.

Flower Motif - Click here for the flower motif.

Make in a contrast color, working the 4th row in the color you have made the headband in.

Finishing - Weave in all loose ends of yarn and trim off, attach flower motif to headband.
