270 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in White (1001) Color 1

250 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in Saffron (1081) Color 2

200 grams of Stylecraft Special DK in Aspen (1422) Color 3

OR

9.5oz of Light Worsted Weight #3 in color 1

8.8oz of Light Worsted Weight #3 in color 2

7oz of Light Worsted Weight #3 in color 3

6.50mm & 5.50mm crochet hooks

GAUGE - 4sc and 4 rows of pattern measure approx 1 Inch using 5.50mm hook

Weave in ends at the start of each color change.

Using 6.50mm hook and color ch154, change to 5.50mm hook, (RS) 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc in each ch to end. Turn. (153sc)

Next Row - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * 1trc in next sc, 1sc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn. (76trc)

Fasten off. Join in color 2.

Pattern Row 1 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each trc and sc to end. Turn.

Pattern Row 2 - ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, * 1trc in next sc, 1sc in next sc, * rpt from * to * to end. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Rows 1 & 2 once, Fasten off.

Rpt Pattern Rows 1 & 2 in color sequence as follows:-

# Once in color 1. Fasten off.

Twice in color 3. Fasten off.

Once in color 1. Fasten off.

Twice in color 2. Fasten off. #

Rpt from # to # eleven more times until 150 rows have been worked from the beginning. Fasten off.

Work Pattern Rows 1 & 2 once in color 1. Do not fasten off. Turn.

Edging - (Made in continuous rows without turning) ch1, 2sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each trc and sc to corner (or last sc) 3sc in corner, 1sc in each row end down first side of blanket to corner, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each ch along cast on edge to corner, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each row end up second side of blanket to corner, 1sc in corner, sl st to first sc.

Shell Row - ch3, 2dc in base of ch3, * skip 1sc, 1sc in next sc, skip 1sc, 3dc in next sc, * rpt from * to * around all four sides of blanket to end, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Finishing - Weave in loose threads of yarn on start of blanket and where you finished.
