MB.   Make Bobble -

Leaving last loop of each tr on hook,

work 5tr into next dc, yrh and pull through all loops.

Base of ch. Work into first stitch

Size to fit approx:  Newborn baby, (15 Inch circumference)

Materials

15 grams of King Cole big value baby DK in white (001)

4.00mm crochet hook

Decorative Button

Ribbon bows (optional)

TENSION - 4dc and 5 rows measure approx 1 Inch

Headband - Make 6ch, (RS) 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (5dc)

Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn.

Rpt last row five more times.

Pattern Row 1 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into next dc, MB (see abbrev) into next dc, 1dc into each of next 2dc. Turn.

Pattern Row 2 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into next dc, bobble and 2dc. Turn.

Pattern Rows 3-6 - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Rows 1-6 nine more times until 67 rows have been worked in all. Turn.

Buttonhole Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into next dc, make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into each of next 2dc. Turn.

Next Row - 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next dc, 2ch space and 2dc. Turn.

Edge - (WS) 1ch, 2dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each of next 3dc, 3dc into last dc, working down first side of headband, work 1dc into each row end to corner, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each ch along cast on edge to corner, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each row end up second side of headband to corner, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off.

Finishing - Weave in any loose ends of yarn, attach decorative button on opposite side of headband to correspond with buttonhole.
